First National seminar On Respiratory diseases

First national seminar was conducted on June 14th, 2009. The speakers were:

Dr. George D’ Souza on Investigations and respiratory diseases.
Dr Kim Jobst on Global prevalence of respiratory disease and Homoeopathy
Dr. Bipin Jain on Clinico-pathologico-miasmatic correlation application in homoeopathic management
Dr. Sundeep Salvi on Overview of burden of obstructive airway disease and how homoeopathy can help
Dr. BK Ghosh Mondal on Immunity / Immunopathology and allergy
Dr. Krishna Mohan on Therapeutic Approach to various respiratory affections and allergies
Dr. Srivatsan on Management of acute respiratory conditions in Homeopathy

OUTCOME:

Establishing Asthma & Allergy clinic with specialized approach.
Initiating a special programme called A-A study. This study was conducted with aim to
i) Understand effective role of homeopathy in bronchial asthma and allergy
ii) Identify a group of most useful homeopathic medicines as a bronchodilator in management of bronchial asthma
iii) Effectiveness of Auxiliary methodology in the management of Bronchial asthma and allergy
All clinics coming under the Centre of Excellence started using Spirometry in cases of Respiratory conditions where necessary.
A retrospective study on 2500 cases treated from our clinics was initiated.
